Dante would later name the Alberighi among the ancient Florentine houses in Paradiso XVI — "già nel calare, illustri cittadini". See the Name page for the sourced history.
By the middle of the fourteenth century the Florentine house had gone. The chronicler Giovanni Villani records that "today there is none of them."
Born 1 February 1870 at Cervia, in the province of Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna — son of Antonio Della Casa Alberighi and Cristina Berardi. The clearest documented bearer of the compound surname found so far.
